I ordered just a simple 8-count nugget and fry meal. I'm not sure if the speculations of added antibiotics to the chicken, or the new pea protein (?) ingredient they added to the french fries are true, but this was my first time getting chick fil a where I felt like I could taste a difference in the quality of the food. The chicken had some distinct flavor that I couldn't pinpoint, and I needed to eat them with sauce to finish the container. Next, the fries are not up to par. There were these little crumb like bits coating the fry that could be easily mistaken for salt, but I don't think it was salt. They were pretty bland and dry, and didn't have a nice golden crispy exterior as I remember. Service was great. I just wish CFA would go back to their former ingredients!
I got my order quickly. The cashier, Ms. Joyce was efficient. My order was correct. The lobby was very clean. There was an attendant walking around the lobby checking on the guests, even clearing tables as needed. My food was good and fresh.
Chic-Fil-A NEVER fails me! From the tasty food to the great customer service, you can not go wrong with this place. They set the bar when it comes to fast food. I love all of the menu items but I usually get the nuggets or the chicken sandwich. I also always get the frosted coffee, perfect amount of caffeine and never too sweet. Do not let the drive-thru line discourage you. The line is almost always out of the lot but it goes very fast. They never ask you to "pull up" while they finish your order like other fast food places. It's always ready when you get to the window. They also have a great reward system so make sure you get the app to collect points.
